    6.5 Beta Release Version 5 Crashing

    Hi
    I loaded the latest beta release of the weekend & it has been working fine until this evening.
    I had to close down my PC to change the internet connection & exited NT first via the appropriate manner & saved all workspaces.
    Upon rebooting & then opening NT, it fails to open completely & comes up with an error 'NT has detected a problem & needs to shut down'. this error is 100% effective, i.e. am unable to open NT at all. it asks to send an email to support & it will attach the trace file.

    any thoughts or comments greatly welcomed !

    I have just sent an e-mail to [email protected] with a copy of the trace file.

      This happened to me today also. I moved all the files in the

      \Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\workspaces

      directory to a backup directory. It then restarted fine and I just had to create a new workspace.

          Attached is the contents of my "workspaces" directory that crashes the program on startup if someone from NT wants to take a look at it.

              Same thing happened also to me yesterday.

              It would seems that there is a problem with the latest version.

              I had to delete my default workspace to be able to open Ninja.

                We are on analyzing and fixing an issue. At least the case "woodside" reported is caused by that.

                We'll keep you posted. Sorry for the trouble.

                  I hope this will be soon as my Ninja crashed again today, so I can't really trade until this is fixed as I am with IB and using Ninja for my orders.

                        Hi.
                        When downloading via the link below, I am being asked to uninstall the prior version..........is this correct?
                        From what I have seen of the other threads, this should not be necessary.

                        pls advise.

                            Deleting the workspaces enabled NT to start, have to recreate the workspaces...

                              After downloading the recent 6.5.0.6, at installation selecting "repair" I seem to have 6.5.05 installed ?? So as per the previous post by dgregor5 are we supposed to select "uninstall" ??
