    Double Workspace

    I am using the latest beta release and on Friday when I started the program a double workspace loaded, one on top of the other. Is it something I am doing to cause this to happen. I frequently save my workspace throughout the day just out of habit and then when I shut down the program asks by default if I want to save my workspaces. Is this for some reason producing a problem?

    One more question, is it ok to delete previous versions from the computer?

    Is the "double" workspace constantly reproducible? I'm unaware of any issue with saving of workspaces causing this kind of behavior.

    You can uninstall previous versions of NinjaTrader if you wish. Take extra caution in using the beta for live trading though since it is still a beta and could be prone to unexpected behavior.

      Josh,

      This did happen with the previous beta version but is the first time with the new version. I will keep an eye on things to see what makes it happen. I will report back.

          If this happens again:
          - kill NinjaTrader by Windows task manager (don't sgut it down, since this will change the workspace files)
          - please mail the complete content of folder <my documents>/NinjaTrader6.5/workspaces to "dierk AT ninjatrader DOT com"

            I've had this issue randomly and it just occurred today. I zipped the specified directory and will email to Dierk.

            And FWIW, I used "End Task" in task manager on "Control Center". Upon doing so I did get a prompt asking if I wanted to save the default workspace. A few seconds later got the task manager prompt telling me it couldn't end the task 'cause it was waiting on input from me. I selected "End now".

                As stated in my most recent email to Dierk this issue seems to have two "modes". In one case I see two Control Centers in the other I see duplicates of every chart and market analyzer window but not two Control Centers.

                I am using 6.5.0.4.
