    Connection and "Funky" data issue with beta 6.5.0.4

    Sorry for the excruciating detail, but I’m hoping it will help track this one down.

    Started NT after market hours (about 7:00 PM Arizona time) to review a few trades that I had made during the day. I opened a workspace that consists of four charts (YM, ES, NQ, and ER2) a superDOM and two market analyzers. I connected to eSignal and scrolled through the charts. I decided to make a few changes to the workspace and saved it as a new one.

    I then closed the workspace and opened another that I use for HSI. (See the attached screenshot). First off the HSI chart acted as if I was not connected to eSignal (last bar on the chart was from last night). Again this was at around 7:00 PM Arizona time HSI had been trading for 15 minutes. I disconnected and reconnected to eSignal and all was well with the chart. However Market analyzer is displaying what seems to be some sort of concatenation of MTPredictor text and HSI prices(?). Again see the screen shot. I don’t recall the exact format of the MTP columns when working correctly but it I know there should be only one digit in the square brackets and should be only a 1,2,3 or 4, e.g TS1, TS2 etc. I realize this may be an MTPredictor issue with the NT beta version but thought I’d report it here.

    Please contact your 3rd party software vendor (here MTP) for any issue on their software. Thanks

      Does this mean you've dismissed this as an MTP issue? Of course I've reported it to the MTP guys as well. But how am *I* to know whether it's NT or MTP? I've never seen this problem on NT 6.0 so in my mind there's certainly a finite probability that 6.5 introduced a new issue...

        It would be easy to find out. If you could try and reproduce excluding any 3rd party products from any of the charts and let us know.

          'K. I can certainly try to reproduce issue number 1 (HSI chart did not update until disconnect/reconnect to eSignal). But the second issue is within Market Analyzer columns that are populated with MTP "stuff" (I don't know the correct terminology?). So excluding MTP from Market Analyzer is not a valid test case.

            Right and in the case of MTP, you would have to contact them as per Dierk. They would need to confirm an issue and report to us.
