When trying to download historiical data from tradestastion I get no files in (only a blank menue box) the Historical Data menu of NT. TS's Ninja data eld is installed and working properly.

I am assuming you have reviewed this documentation and followed the instructions step by step.

If yes, what point in this process are you stuck at?

tools...HistoricalData...Import...shows a blank screen...
In Version 5.0 this would show the instruments u wanted to import

The files are not visible...only a blank screen...yes i have followed the instructions

Is the folder being browsed when doing step 13 \My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\db\import?

Yes.... it is...

Then their must be something missed/failed in the steps where you add the NTDataDownload strategy/indicator into your EL chart. For clarification, this will only work on tick data and TS needs to be running on the same PC that NT is running on.

I thought it was to be set fo 1 min data...I get a 1 min data error message on my Ts chart when I try to use tick data

Correct, it can only be applied to a 1 minute chart.

That is correct the file. Somehow the file is not being written. I am unsure why this could be the case. You could open the NTDataDownload and edit the file to write the file to C:\, run it on a chart, then check to see if the file exists on C:\ as it should.
