Multilple Workspace at Startup

It appears that I may have an issue with the workspace feature. I have several that I have configured and saved with unique names. However, they seem to all be loading at startup and it is causing the computer to lock.

Shouldn't default be the only workspace that loads at startup? Can you point me in the right direction please?

Right now NT6.5 will load at startup any workspace you left open during the prior session. You can go through your workspaces and close them all if you don't want them to be loaded at startup next time. (File->Workspaces->Close Workspace)

If the workspace continues to lock up each and everytime, please send it to us for examination.

- Shut down NT
- Send us all files in the following folder
- Delete all files in the following folder and restart NT (workspace will now be gone)

Version 6.5 start up

I have been experiencing problems with the version 6.5 beta on a Vista system with Zen Fire as primary and Open Tick as backup data feed.

Issues include lost charts, system lock up. It may be that the root cause is the length of time it takes for 6.5 to load. It takes a good 12 minutes from initial initialisation to the final population of data on the last chart.

Is there a way to resolve this ???

Startup performance has not changed with 6.5, apart from the fact that you could load more than 1 workspace.

- How many workspaces are loading on start up?
- How many total charts?
- Are their Market Analyzers loading, if so how many and how many instruments?
- What type of charts?
- Are you loading any 3rd party indicators, if yes, which ones?

How many total charts? - 10 + single superdom

Are their Market Analyzers loading, - None

if so how many and how many instruments?

What type of charts? - 1x233 tick/1x13 range/1x3min/1x15min/3x60min/3min tick/3min tick/3min vix

Are you loading any 3rd party indicators, if yes, which ones? - Yes, MTPredictor

I am loading 65 days data to enable monthly pivots to work

Start up takes a lo-o-ong time, easy 10 - 12 minutes

Please proceed as per my link, in particular remove the MTPredictor indicators and see if that would speed up things.

Also: 65 days of ticks chart likely will cause issues.

I will review the link and follow the steps. However, after removing the MTPredictor indicators, shutting down NT I cannot run the application. I get the message as per the attachment. I will try to restart the pc.

With NT version 6.0.1000.6 with same number of charts (except the range chart) and same number of days for data NT loads within 2 minutes ???

Range chart for sure makes a difference, since it's tick based.

Cannot get NT to open. I decided to trash the files in the workspace folder and start to build it again. Will advise you accordingly
