Volume Bars Greater than 40000

In trying to open a volume bar chart of NQ 12-07 with a volume of 40000, I receive an error dialog saying "The interval of '40000' is invalid. Please use a smaller value."

This limitation is by design but I can't recall why its there. Will check with development on Monday.

Can't seem to backfill Range or Volume bars. I'm using IB data feed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Both of those interval types require historical tick data which we do not support through IB.

Thanks for the quick reply Ray. I noticed something else. While I can not open a high volume volume-bar from File->New->Chart, I can create a chart using a low volume and then change it in the new chart to high volume without any problems.
