NT8 will not start

    NT8 will not start

    NT8 worked fine yesterday. Today I put in my login credentials and the NT logo just keeps thinking indefinetdly. I tried in another computer and NT8 does start in the other computer

    Thank you for the message.

    The NinjaTrader forum is not the best place to reach out this kind of Tech Support as we need to look at the log and trace files from your PC for further insight and those contain private/sensitive information.

    Since it works on one PC, but not the other, this means there is something specific about one of the PC's or settings within it preventing you from moving forward and we would want to investigate it further.


    Since you cannot sign in and open NinjaTrader on the one PC, follow the steps below to manually send your Log and Trace files to our support team for further insight:
    • Open Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents") > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder or "NinjaTrader 7' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to ClientServices[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com
      • Feel free to attach any pictures, information, or anything else that would help demonstrate
      • Paste the Forum URL into the Subject or Body of the email
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
    • Send the email

      Thank you, just send the email woith the compressed zip folders. Anything else that I can do?

        Do you use Apex desktop assistant? If so, try updating the toolkit
