Use only RTH

Using the Strategy Builder I have designed a strategy for futures trading that runs all day and uses data from all day. I want to only use data from RTH. Using the Additional Data section there is no way to specify trading hours in the same manner in which I can on the chart...it only uses instrument settings but doesn't give a way to change that. Does anyone know how I can do that? The custom series section doesn't make much sense to me.

Using the builder you would be limited on the data series options, for this use case you would need to add user inputs for a start and end time and then type in the RTH hours for those inputs. You could then use those inputs to make a group condition checking if the Time is between those two times. You could then use the ETH hours and the strategy could work logically only during the times you specify. If you unlock the strategy you could use the AddDataSeries syntax which species a trading hours template.

Jesse thanks again for your help. After messing around a bit I was able to get it to do what I needed just by setting the chart settings to US Equities RTH. Seems like the strategy only trades and plots the time settings of the chart. Again thanks for your help as always...its great having someone here who can help!
