Faulty nt8 sim101 account insufficient margin messages?

    Faulty nt8 sim101 account insufficient margin messages?

    i am getting ''not enough buying power in sim account'' and ''can't be submitted, not enough excess margin''. even though the accounts tab shows $425,000 in the sim101 account. my order is to buy 1 treasury bond future and i have no positions?

    please advise

    several hours later:

    1] the accounts tab now displays $zero in sim101 acct which now make sense with ''not enough buying power in sim account''.

    2] however, it now displays $zero and duplicate info for my fully funded dorman acct?

    3] what does ''mirus'' mean in the account name field?

      how do i reset sim101 acct to populate it with some dollars again? i don't see how to do it in the properties window? the help guide directions displayed below appear to be for NT7?

        The help guide image you've linked is for NinjaTrader 8.

        Please follow the instructions below to reset a simulation account.
        • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the Accounts tab
        • Right click on your simulation account and select 'Edit Account'
        • Press the "Reset" button


        Can you clarify — you do not see a 'Reset' button in the lower right of the accounts property window?

        Were you connected when you experienced this zero dollar amount for your accounts?
