    All of my indicators have errors

    I turned on my platform this morning and attempted to make an adjustment to one of my indicators. When I tried to compile it I got a HUGE list of indicator errors. Some of these are the standard indicators that are locked. Essentially, every single one of my indicators are broken. HELP!

    Hello ThatMikey,

    Please attach a screenshot of the errors you are receiving so I may look into this further. To capture a screenshot I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

    Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.

        This error indicates that a system indicator is missing from the NinjaTrader 8 -> bin -> Custom -> Indicator folder, or a corrupt file is currently present.

        Steps to Resolve
        1. Shut down NinjaTrader
        2. Navigate to Add/Remove Programs within the user's PC's Control Panel.
        3. Click "NinjaTrader 8" in the list of installed programs to select it.
        4. Click "Repair".
        5. Finally, restart NinjaTrader and recompile.

            So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".

              I am trying to email you. Now I'm getting an error message saying "Your message could not be sent. The limit on the number of allowed outgoing messages was exceeded. Try again later."

              What is going on with this platform?

                So I may look into this further please send an email to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.

                In the message, please include the following:
                1.) A link to this forum thread.
                2.) A copy of your log and trace files.

                Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your email.
                • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
                • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
                • Send the 2 compressed folders as an attachment in your email
                • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
