    Hi,
What is the add-on called that is required to purchase?
    How much is it?
Why do you still list TD Ameritrade on your website?

    Thanks

      Hello sonia0101,

Below is a link to the support page with information about the Multi-broker addon.

I'll forward to the marketing team you would like TD Ameritrade removed from the list of supported brokerages.

hello, do you have any Update for NinjaTrader Upgrade including the SCHWAB API. I find it very hard to believe that it's taking so long, would not be surprised to find out an upgrade is coming out without the SCHWAB API ....if there's any Honest way to update the people that hold a lifetime license it would be greatly appreciated....

            Hello Chelsea,

Seriously, are you suggesting that NinjaTrader will (or may) remove Schwab (old TD Ameritrade) as a supported brokerage and will not develop the long overdue API?

              Hello aligator,

The Schwab connection adapter is in development / testing and currently there are not plans to discontinue this brokerage for support.

However, if there are enough requests to remove this from the supported 3rd party brokerages it will be considered.

Please note, we receive many requests and cannot reasonably implement all requested features or changes. Interest is tracked internally and if enough interest is tracked, it would be weighed against how feasible it would be to make those changes to consider implementing, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment.

When new features are implemented, they will be listed in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide. The ID number may be different than the internal feature request tracking ID, but the description of the feature will let you know if that feature has been implemented.

That is crazy. Third party brokerage support is an essential, integral, and critical part of the NinjaTrader software for which many members purchased lifetime licence for. Why would anyone vote to remove this brokerage support, unless NT has no intention to support Schwab as a third party? If anything, addition of more third party brokerage support is a smarter business approach.

The question by sonia0101 in Post#46 "Why do you still list TD Ameritrade on your website?" was not a request to remove TD Ameritrade, but was more of a sarcastic statement regarding sluggish NinjaTrader transition from TD Ameritrade to Schwab API.

"Please note, we receive many requests and cannot reasonably implement all requested features or changes. Interest is tracked internally and if enough interest is tracked, it would be weighed against how feasible it would be to make those changes to consider implementing, so we cannot offer an ETA or promise of fulfillment."

This is not a question of "enough Interest", it is a critical softare and service function that people bought into NinjaTrder and deserve to know when the API fuctionality will be restored by providing a responsible response other than "can not offer ETA or promise of fulfillment."

"When new features are implemented, they will be listed in the Release Notes page of the Help Guide. The ID number may be different than the internal feature request tracking ID, but the description of the feature will let you know if that feature has been implemented."

This is not a new feature, it is a critical functioning part of the software for many paid license holders that is has been disabled for many months and has rendered the software useless for many lifetime licensees.

                  Hello aligator,

I was meaning about sonia0101's request for this not to be listed on the website (as in officially not supported). That would be for the marketing and development team to discuss.

That said, we track all requests. If there is suddenly huge demand to remove Schwab after it's added, that's something that will be discussed. Ultimately it is up to development and management on which direction they will take with the desktop platform. (I personally don't think the amount of users who do use Schwab and are waiting for this new adapter will ever out-weight the amount of people calling for it to be removed)

As of now, the new adapter for Schwab was always going to be made, it just took a long while for the Schwab API team to provide the full documentation (and finishing building the API) and for our development team to create the adapter and have it pass testing with our team and the Schwab API team.

Once the Schwab connection adapter finishes testing it will be available in a new release of NinjaTrader.
Our developers have this as a high priority item.

We cannot provide a date for this release.

Hello, so just be clear you have the API for Schwab and it is in beta testing and be released in the next update... is that correct ... why aren't lifetime license holders beta testing it that would only make sense but good to hear you have the API..

                      Thanks Chelsea,

I am not sure how you qualify your above statement without having any data, not yet. People that are not using TDA (Schwab) API have no reason or incentives to call for removal to "out-weight" those who are asking for it. sonia0101's comment is simply questioning marketing a TD Ameritrade API service that is not currently available, not a vote to remove a third party API.

Tens and maybe hundred of related comments in many threads of this forum ask for expediting the API implementation, and not a single request for removing this API or any one of other third party APIs from the list. That is a Business need and a Management decision to make, if it benefits the bottom line.

                      Cheers!! (no reply necessary)

                          Hello blkbird,

The Schwab API is in testing / development but I cannot promise it will be ready in the next release. As long as it passes testing in time, there is a possibility it may be in the next release.

Hello, thanks for reply and yes I did see that one coming ( post 49 )... doubt very seriously you'll have the Schwab API on the next release.... don't know why or what's taking you guys so long but it's really ridiculous and Irritating . You can ask any lifetime license holder and they would all agree that we would not be running into this problem with an API if you guys at NinjaTrader didn't have a brokerage firm and solely depended on taking care of your customers with your software.... please only update us when you are 100% sure on the API release... PS you should hire the coder at Medved Trader to program your API he can do it with relative ease and fast. he programmed his API on his trading platform to connect to basically every broker out there....

Common Guys make it happened, or maybe Schwab buy Ninja Trader as a whole.

hello, api is not working now ... today it does not show positions or any info on trades like profit or loss etc. ALL IS GONE NOW however it does let you connect to Schwab to get data and it allows you to put a trade in but that's all ... you cannot follow it on the charts or in your control center please fix ASAP
