What does your statement even mean?
Please elaborate.
One could read into it- that there is a possibility that NT may not even offer this access any longer.
Thanks

Hello,
Schwab released the API documentation to 3rd party companies such as ourselves around 2 weeks ago. Currently our team is investigating how this can be implemented to accommodate the new technology and feature set. Once we are able to build out and test functionality I should be able to comment on what will and won't be supported with this new API connection, but unfortunately it is not clear yet exactly what this will be.Ryan S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Another vote for this functionality with the new Schwab API. The TD Ameritrade API has been defunct for several months now. Any updates on when this will be released?

I'll be the first to admit that I have a poor understanding of requirements for integrations. With that being said, I find it both astonishing and frustrating that I've not had any ability to utilize NT within my Schwab account since the completed migration.
I appreciate all of NT's supposed work on development and am assuming/hoping that this will, eventually, come to fruition. The question is, how long?
If NT feels that this is, primarily, an issue related to pushback from Schwab and there's no foreseeable resolution, it would be best to let us know so that we may consider alternatives (e.g., migrating equity from Schwab to something supported. Say, Interactive Brokers.)
It seems unfair to have little to no clarity on a platform that many of us have paid for with the purpose of utilizing for trading equity. If NT simply considers the platform archaic and wants to focus on a new path (e.g., portal based access, futures focused, etc.), let us know so we may choose to "cut the cord".
Sincerest apologies if I've missed a post or update that has addressed these very concerns.

I've been following Wealth-Lab's forum on their TD Ameritrade to Schwab API transition efforts. They are also getting the "run around" from Schwab regarding their commercial license application. However, they have been able to develop an "individual connection extension" that still requires users to get their own API key and approval from Schwab's Developer's portal. Are you all considering doing something similar? I received my API key and approval from Schwab months ago but loath the idea of restarting my custom app based on Java to use their services. In fact, I abandoned my custom app efforts in June of 2023 (I was half-way finished) when someone pointed me to NinjaTrader. I believe most of us would be happy to go through Schwab's approval process if that mean we can use their services with NinjaTrader like before.
