Does a red connection attempt to auto-connect, or is there a methodology to recover from a red connection?
Occasionally when running NT, my connection turns red. Since I'm still able to connect to websites and watch YouTube vids, I know the issue is not a broken internet connection on my end. Rather, it's a matter of my (crap) brokerage account flaking out. Two questions:
1) When a connection becomes red, does it attempt to connect back up? Does it keep on pinging the connection to see if it's live again, and then attempt a connection?
2) What do you recommend to recover from a red connection, if the network is not the issue? The only method I've discovered is to reset NT. This takes time, and of course, I lose all of my trade data accumulated in the Strategies tab.
