Jeronymite, you're absolutely correct. To all, forgive me for not initially following the common practice.
The solution doesn't lie completely in Ninjatrader, but in either Excel or Google Sheets. I'll use Google Sheets for the instructions.
Step 1: Click the letter at the top of the column you want to separate. In this case it would be "W".
Step 2: Select "Data" heading ==> "Split text to columns" ==>
Step 3: Click "Separator: Detect Automatically" ==> "Semicolon"
(This will automatically detect the character or space separating the fields)
Note: After "Semicolon" is clicked, if there are 2 items to be separated, the 2nd item will be placed in the next column over. In this case, column "X". Although, numeric and non-numberic values are in the same cells, once the data is separated, the numeric values can be immediately used in calculations.

RookieTrader Glad you worked it out. It's good practice when reporting "solved!" to also include the solution so others may benefit from your excellent work. Worth doing in this and futures cases.

    Thanks.

Just to clarify if I wasn't clear, when I copy from the output window, the 2 parameters are both in one cell. I want the date and close to be separated into 2 cells when copied from the output window.

Separating Data From Output Window To Excel

    Hello,
I'm able to copy data to excel, but I don't know how to separate, for example, the date and the close. Is there a way to do that?
