    How to Update the Commission Used in Trade Performance

    How do I update the commission rate used in the Trade Performance window? I tried updating it in the Commissions screen but it doesn't change the commission displayed in the TP window.

    Where NinjaTrader receives commission information from depends on the account and connection type.

    Could you let me know which connection you are using (e.g. NinjaTrader or NinjaTrader Continuum), and which version of NinjaTrader is installed? This may be found under Help > About.

        Thank you very much for your reply.

        Are you using NinjaTrader 8.1.2.0? If you are using an older version, please first update to this version following the steps below:

        How Do I Update to the Latest Version of NinjaTrader Desktop?

        NinjaTrader 8.1.2.0, when using the NinjaTrader (not NinjaTrader Continuum) connection would receive these values from the server directly.

        If they are not correct, please contact us at support (at) ninjatrader (dot) com, we can then look into why these values are not reported correctly.

            Please tell me how to update the commissions. It can't be different from 8.1.1.7 and 8.1.2.

              Thank you very much for your reply.

              Please update to NinjaTrader 8.1.2.0. NinjaTrader 8.1.2.0 received several updates to the Trade Performance report that should resolve this issue.

              Please don't hesitate to let me know, should you still experience any issues when using our current version!

                  Ok, This is really getting crazy. I updated to 8.1.2 and the problem IS NOT FIXED. Can you please tell me how to enter custom commissions and fix this issue?

                    I've right clicked on the account in the control center and assigned the commission template to the account. That is also not working.

                      Thank you for writing in.

                      The following step is under the assumption that you've already enabled "multi provider mode". If you haven't done this go to Tools > Options > General > Multi Provider Mode.


                      Once you go back to the Control Center and right-click an account, you will be able to select 'edit' and a commission template.

                          Are you using NinjaTrader 8.0.28 or earlier? If so, these would not be an option. If you are using NinjaTrader 8.1 or later it would be under Tools > Options > General > Multi Provider Mode ; NOT in the configure screen as you previously mentioned.

                            I'm using 8.1.2 and multi-vendor IS checked in option->General. But custom commissions are still not working. Thanks.
