Failing issue during app loading process relative to choosing Path step.

New to Ninja and have had no success finding solutions to this failing point during an .exe install. Unless it is something I am not truly able to accomplish please advise. The 2 attachments show point of difficulty and pop up relative to fail. The app name is TG_47_VSA_SW_4.7.0.4_Setup_7_1.exe which during the execution shows Ninja 8 as a choice that it should load to.
    Thanks in advance.

The installation you are performing looks like it has nothing
to do with the core NinjaTrader product.

Are you trying to install some 3rd-party software?
Where did you get the software you are installing?
What's the name of the website?

When you went back to that website, contacted their support,
reported this same error, and asked for their help with their
installation process, what did they say?

Surely, you did ask them, right?

Even though this may sound like sarcasm, it's actually quite
sound advice. The best help should come from the support
folks at the 3rd-party website where you first got the
software. They should know their own software better
    than most everyone here.

Hang in there, and good luck!

    :-)

You did see the error message, right? Your installation is looking for the DATA folder... by default (assuming you aren't in one-drive he||) that is located in C:\Users\user1\Documents\NinjaTrader 8...

And btldavid's advice was spot on... Get used to visiting the 3rd party provider FIRST when you have installation problems... You are going to learn very quickly that NT Support is a hammer looking for a nail and you will NOT like some of the solutions offered especially as you get deeper into the platform....

I did contact the provider but they were not all that helpful.

In the case of loading into MT5 it required a cut and past of this piece of an MT5 path, I'm assuming I need similar within Ninja.

In short what you say is the answer, I need to find the Data Folder and I have yet to come across it with the hunt for it thus far.

          Hello Gundy75,

          Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately we are unable to assist with installation issues for third party software. Please reach out to the vendor of this software for any issues you encounter installing it.

            Huh?
What do you mean you need to 'find' the data folder?
            That doesn't make much sense.

You already installed NinjaTrader 8, right?
Don't you have the folder 'NinjaTrader 8' in your Documents folder?
What happens when you specify that folder?

            -=o=-

If you're not getting the support you require from the vendor,
you should complain a bit louder. After all, it is their software
and their installer -- do they have an instructions web-page?
Do they have a support forum (like what you're on here)?

Seriously, pursue the 3rd-paty provider for help, because
everything you'll get here is educated guesses, and/or pure
speculation. Very doubtful you'll find anyone here who knows
your software, esp since you haven't even identified it. I'm
just saying, go back to the vendor, keep asking for help, they
are the key to your success here.
