You can view order movements in the log tab of the control center, but this is a fairly unintuitive way to track this. If you're unable to find the information you are looking for in your log feel free to email us at support(at)ninjatrader(dot)com and attach your log and trace files as well as what order you are inquiring about and we can help identify what occurred. Keep in mind also stop orders frequently incur slippage which could explain the 1.5 point price difference between stop trigger price and fill price.
To attach your log and trace files, please see below:
- Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
- Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
- Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
- Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
