NT8 has been stable for me for quite some time now. No more freezing or crashing.
And now that I have learned how to use the Strategy Builder and Strategy Analyzer, and have learned the power that they have... and to combine that with the Ninjatrader Alerts, tabbed workspaced and more, I can now say that NT8 is truly a great trading platform.
