Bug: Alerts Log Filters Not Working

Our development has deemed this as expected behavior and has updated the help guide to reflect this.

"The default behavior of the Alerts Log is to only receive alerts from its parent workspace. However, you can configure an individual Alerts Log window or tab to receive alerts from other workspaces by right clicking on the Alert Log, selecting Properties and checking Receive alerts from all active workspaces (Please note that NinjaScript objects are excluded from this check)."

Hi there,

I am using serveral self-made indicators which fire alerts using the Alert(...)-Method of the Indicator-Class. The alerts appear in the Alerts Log, and they also play their respective sounds. So far, so good.

Now, I have a second workspace, with an own Alerts Log window opened, and when that second workspace is active, I don't want to be distracted by alerts fired from the first workspace. As far as I understand, the alerts from the first workspace should not appear, since the checkbox "Receive alerts from all active workspaces" under "Properties" of the Alerts Log is NOT checked ... However, the alerts from the first workspace appear, and their sounds are played.

So I tried some of the other filters. The alerts from the first workspace have priority "Medium" and source "Ninjascript". So I ticked off the respective priority and source checkboxes. No effect. Alerts keep appearing in the log and the sounds are played.

So my impression is that the filters are not working at all.

Can you fix that, please? NinjaTrader version 8.0.18.1 64-bit.
