Commissions missing in RTY

    Commissions missing in RTY

    Hello,
    On backtesting the RTY, commissions are not posted. The same strategy shows commissions for other contracts....
    Can RTY commissions be added in?

    Hello aaadetos,

    Thank you for your post.

    Please see the steps below on applying a Commission value Per Instrument and configure a commission value for the RTY.
    • Navigate to the Control Center -> Tools > Commissions
    • Select your commissions template
    • Under the section 'Commission Per Instrument', select the instrument that you would like to add the commissions to and then select 'edit'
    • Select the instrument you would like to add the commissions to and then set a value for either 'Minimum Commission' (commission rate per side) or 'Per-unit Commission' (commission rate for each individual contract), and then click 'OK'.
    • Click 'OK' to exit the Commissions window
    Now you will have to apply the commissions template you just created to an account. Please see the following steps to do so.
    • Navigate to the Control Center -> Accounts tab
    • Right click on an account and select 'Edit Account...'
    • On the 'Commission' row, select the name of the custom template you created in the pull-down menu
    • Click 'OK

      Thanks Shawn for itemizing the steps...

      But I'm backtesting on the Sim101 account and already have a NinjaTrader Brokerage commissions selected.
      But NinjaTrader needs to add the RTY to the list of instruments, if it was an oversight on their part, unless the RTY isn't supported?

        Thank you for your post.

        The RTY is supported. Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.

        To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put '2139802 Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
