Language issue in the NT8 interface

Hello,
Please try compiling from Control Center>New>NinjaScript Editor, right clicking inside the NinjaScript Editor window and selecting Compile.

Hi,
Ok, so I deleted all of the appropriate files and have re-started NT.
I now only see the English language but, once again, none of my custom indicators are available to add to the charts. All custom indicators across all charts have dissapeared.
The custom indicators are still present in /bin/Custom/Indicators.
How can I get my indicators back without having the same language problem?

Hello,
That is indeed a strange issue.
I recommend following the original steps again but this time add these steps
1) Delete all the Resource.ab.resx files where ab is any two lowercase letters.
2) Leave all the Resource.ab-CD.resx files
Please let me know how this goes.

This is getting a little silly now.
Having got all of my indicators back, the language has now changed to Italian - the same issue I was having previously.
NT is starting to grate now

I *think* I may have resolved it.
Upon attempting to import an add-on I was told that a file with the same name exists in bin/Custom/Indicators.
I removed that file, re-imported the indicator and now all indicators are showing.
Weird.

I can see that all of my indicators are still present in /bin/custom/indicators
They are just not showing in my indicator list on a chart

Version is 8.0.8.0 64 bit
I find I cannot install any indicators following the removal of the libraries

Hello,
Thanks for your note.
Can I please confirm what version of NinjaTrader you are using?
This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X or 8.0.X.0)

Thanks for the response.
I can confirm that it resolved my language issue - and promptly removed all of my installed indicators from my indicator list

Hello,
Thanks for your post.
Here are the complete steps to resolve this error:
1) Shut down NinjaTrader
2) Open Windows File Explorer and navigate to Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > bin > Custom
3) Delete 'NinjaTrader.Custom.dll' and 'Resource.de.resx' (these files may not have '.dll' or '.resx' at the end depending on your Windows settings).
4) CRITICAL — DO NOT delete any other files in this folder. Many files have similar names. Please be certain you are deleting the exact files above.
5) Restart NinjaTrader
If we may assist you further please let us know.

Language issue in the NT8 interface
Hi,
A bit of a weird issue but I seem to have many of the labels used in NT8 showing in German. This is despite the locale of the server being set to UK (where I am) as well as having "English" set in Tools -> General -> Language.
As an example, if I were to select New -> Chart and select an instrument, I see certain text in German (not all text).
If I have the chart open and choose the 'period' dropdown, the text in there is all in English e.g. Minute, Second, Range, Day etc. However, if I select "Day", the text in this drop down then converts to 'Tag' (I think that is German for 'day').
I have included attachments to show this.
I have never set my language to German, anywhere.Tags: None
