    OnStateChange called before the Constructor ?

    I am looking at two indicators and noticing that
    protected override void OnStateChange()
    get executed prior the
    public MyIndicator()
    constructor.
    I wander why. What's the logic.
    Regards
    Gio

    Hello Gio,

    NinjaScript indicators and strategies are inherited classes that NinjaTrader has predefined the structure of in the core of the application.

    In ConstructorOnStateChangeSequenceTest, the derived class constructor runs first. Before the script body executes, the base class constructors are called, triggering SetState(State.SetDefaults).

      Ahh, of course! Thank you.
      The base class constructor is called *before* the derived class constructor.
