Swing Indicator Issue

Dear Support,

The current NT swing indicator generates multiple highs or lows before an opposite low or high is generated. This creates errors and wrong or false swing signals when used in a trading system.

The ideal swing indicator will not print successive highs or lows, i.e. a high is always followed by a low and so on.

Question:
Is there such an ideal swing indicator available? If not, can the current swing indicator be modified to correct this situation?

Thanks for your post.

You might look at the Zig-Zag indicator in your platform an algorithm that follows your logic of High then Low. Like the swing indicator, the Zig-Zag, has a parameter to adjust for the best fit.

As the source code is provided for the Swing indicator you are welcome to copy the code and modify it to meet your specific needs.

Alternatively, you can hire a 3rd party programmer to provide the modification service or create a new indicator that performs according to your specifications.
