JetBrains are making a brand new .NET Development Environment Called Rider https://www.jetbrains.com/rider/
Its in Early-Access Mode right now, but I've been using it for a week and it is PERFECT. It was able to pick up all my visual studio settings; everything from Source Control, to MSBuild Tasks and everything worked immediately.
And, Cruicially its FAST compared to Visual Studio... No more fans on the laptop blowing like a hairdryer while I'm coding or lag as I type.
Thought I'd share the good news, I've got a love-hate relationship with Visual Studio (mostly hate). This changes everything.
