Anyone want to experiment and feedback over a code library/foundation called the
MT Double Shot Strategy Foundation:
Allows you to use the unmanaged order mode in NinjaTrader and focus on entry/exit rules - with out of the box advanced trade management, drag and drop chart trader style interface.
Comes with a single, double, triple moving average crossover sample, with volume and slope filters. Custom trails on the MAs and some pre-sets -shows you how you can mix rules using bitwise parameters and bitwise logical operators - to have many rules on at the same time etc.
You can add in custom entry rules, custom filters, custom breakeven, custom trail stops, custom exits - and code as normal in the NinjaTrader code editor.... has a graphical user interface that allows you to pause/interact, enter, reverse/ trigger trails, close brackets etc.
There are some caveats with 3rd party indicators though and 3 ways to handle that..
and really depends on If you want to display them on or not...
We are willing to assist with your code projects - in the context of helping you use this extension of the normal NinjaTrader strategy base class- in return we get feedback and add in your modifications or fixes where appropriate. etc. For larger NinjaTrader development projects we can also build or/ assist or customise your strategy for you.
So we really want this to be community driven - like all of our strategy stuff we are 100% for demo NinjaTrader, test, sim, backtest etc.. .and always will be just like NinjaTrader itself!
