RTY charts will not populate

The VOL indicator does not plot because there are less than 20 price bars loaded in the chart. Indicators do not plot on the first 20 price bars in NinjaTrader 7. Once more than 20 price bars are loaded in the chart, indicators will start to plot values.

Wow; thanks. That's crazy.Originally posted by NinjaTrader_Jason View PostUnfortunately this is also expected. The RTY is not that volatile, so there were not so many ticks yesterday.

I see what you're saying. But something is definitely wrong. None of my tick charts are drawing at all -- not even my 144 tick chart -- which should show a ton of data, even for just 1 day. There's no volume data or complete bars appearing though (please see attachment)
Other instruments are working fine.

Hello Nathan,
Unfortunately this is as expected. You will not load historical data from the TF in the RTY chart. They are both e-mini Russell 2000 index futures, but they trade on different exchanges - TF on Ice and RTY on CME.
The RTY started trading on the CME yesterday and that is why you load only 1 day of historical data.

RTY charts will not populate
I followed the directions here to download the new version of NT to get the RTY instrument to appear: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...d.php?t=101967
Afterward, I searched for, found, and added, the RTY instrument with an expiration of 09-17 in the instrument manager. Then went to my charts formerly populated with TF data, and selected the new RTY instrument.
But the charts are not loading correctly. It's like I'm getting a half-day's worth of data, if that (please see attachment).
The following has not worked:- Double checked the RTY configuration according to the post above -- it looks correct
- I've blown away all cached data (manually)
- Reloaded all data via Historical Data Manager
- Forced the download of more RTY tick, day, and minute data in the Historical Data Manager
- Reloaded the chart template
- Restored from backup and started all over again (only to end up with the same problem)
- Checked the log file. I don't see anything unexpected except for the CQG Adapter.SubscribeMarketDataResolve. And I don't believe the "tick counter view" has anything to do with the problem (has been there before).
- Restarted Ninja Trader more times than I can count.
Please help!
Thanks!
