Hello Nidos,
Thank you for your post.
Are you looking for specific information on a data feed or instrument in NinjaTrader?
Can you detail who you wish to connect to and what instrument you are looking for?
I look forward to your response.

I like Bitcoin a lot, and I would like it to be the no.1 currency for me. By the way, have you tried mining it? What do you think about it? I have found some nice and interesting promo codes for cloud mining services on http://topminers.net/mining-promo-codes/iq-mining-promo-code/ and I think I will try them out. Maybe you will find those helpful to you too, check them out

Hello newuserabc,
Thank you for your post.
There is no update on this feature request at this time. You can however view data in NinjaTrader for the XBT and BTC futures instruments and trade them should your data provider and brokerage technology support those instruments.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Hello SBMaustTrading,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader Support Forum!
Within NinjaTrader 8 and within NinjaTrader 7 release 37 you will find all known mappings for the crypto-currencies of XBT and BTC.
You can check with data providers to see who supports these instruments and who supports trading with these instruments.
You can sign up for a free futures demo through the NinjaTrader Brokerage to see historical data for these instruments if you would like: https://ninjatrader.com/FreeLiveData
Please let me know if you have any questions.

It's been a while..
Hello all, I am 100% new to NT and just stumbled across this. I have been reviewing/studying trading for some time and frankly it's time to start actually executing trades. Are there currently any updates for NT to accept CC(CryptoCurrencies) and add them to the program?
Thanks,
SBM

You can get the whole Bitcoin trades history from Bitcoincharts in CSV format here : http://api.bitcoincharts.com/v1/csv/Originally posted by ddunleavy View PostAnybody have link to or would be willing to share a historical file I can dump into Ninja7 so I can run some backtests
It is updated twice a day for active exchanges, and there are a few dead exchanges, too.
Since there are no column headers in the CSVs, here's what they are : timestamp; price; the volume of the trade

also:
You can get thousands of historical datasets from https://spreadstreet.io.
All datasets are available as a tab-delimited, CSV file. The datasets are a mix between raw tick data, OHLCV, spreads, mining and economic statistics. They can be used for backtesting, analysis, and charting.
Here is an example dataset. This is from Poloniex, and is the 30 min timeframe. We have lower time frames, but the files are larger than I wanted to link in this question.

Regarding the post about Kraken, you can use Trading View through Kraken if that helps.
I thought I learned of the add-on for NT8 from this thread, but I don't see it. Anyway, I am in demo with the Poloniex NinjaTrader Feed. It seems to work well. It may be the best plug and play solution thus far.
Here is the link: (It's the one at the bottom)
