IB simulated trading: Error on loading chart

Hello,

after setting up a connection to IB, connection works fine but I have this problem

Error on loading chart data for 'YM 12-13 Globex'. Historical Market Data Service error message. No market data permissions for ECBOT FUT

I am able to pull the chart in TWS.. what do I need to do in ninjatrader to fix this?

Using ninja 64bit v.: 7.0.1000.15
TWS: 936.9h

Hello llojza,

Can you please install TWS version 938. You can download and install TWS 938 from the following link.

http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrader/TWS/tws40_install_938_1.exe

Once installed, please start NinjaTrader and do not connect to IB yet. Go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader and check if you can load historical data for the YM 12-13.

Do you receive realtime data if you select the YM 12-13 in the Control Center-->Orders-tab?

Are you able to load historical data for other instruments?

Everything done, no problem with loading historical data but i can't see any realtime data in order tab and still have same problem while opening new chart

What issue do you experience when you open a new chart. Do you get a different error?

Tried to open a USDEUR chart and it work fine and i'm receiving realtime data for it.

Is that problem caused because I'm using delayed YM data?

Could it be the simulation connection is only enabled for forex instruments? Do you receive delayed data for forex instruments as well?

Can you please send me your Config.xml file so I can test your connection on my end. You can find the Config.xml file at C:\-->Users-->*Windows user account*-->(My) Documents--> NinjaTrader 7. Please attach it in your email. You can send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Att Jason, IB simulated trading: Error on loading chart' in the subject header.

nope forex data are realtime.
Don't think so account is funded so it shouldn't be any restrictions for instruments.
