    Hi,
    I use the NinjaTrader Chart Trader to submit the orders...
    Sorry, the strategy is a third party software and I modify some parameters inside....so I cant show you due copyright laws
    I think that the problem could be between IB and ninjatrader because with CQG data Works properly...

      In the strategy is a market order being submitted or a limit order?

      On the Chart Trader are you submitting a market order or a limit order?

        Note:
        I trade the NG and GC using this strategy too and no problem detected in 6 months...
        Any idea?...

          Hi,
          The strategy uses market orders...Ive changed today to a limit order in order to see if the problem is solved...Im waiting for a entry order to know if it works..
          Ive only one week with the ZS and Im not sure about the chart trader orders...Ive used limit orders sure...but Im not sure if Ive used market orders...

            Hi reflam,

            May I have your log and trace files for the days you placed orders and received a mis-formatted decimal?

            You will find your NinjaTrader trace file in the following directory:
            • (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\trace\trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
            • For yesterday this file would be trace.20131002.txt


            You will find your NinjaTrader log file in the following directory:
            • (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\log\log.YYYYMMDD.txt
            • For yesterday this file would be log.20131002.txt


            Please send these to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with Attn: Chelsea #911397 written in the body of the email.

            Do not post these files to the forum as they will contain personal information.

                Thank you for the log and trace files.

                I had to go back to 9/30/2013 to find an instance where you placed a manual order. This manual order does appear to suffer from the same issue as your strategies.

                Order submission:
                30/09/2013 11:10:57|1|32|Submitting order by chart trader direct entry
                30/09/2013 11:10:57|1|32|Submitting order without strategy

                (there are a few pending change - working in between here)

                30/09/2013 11:16:07|1|16|Execution='ZS 11-13/0000ee6c.5248bd46.01.01' Instrument='ZS 11-13' Account='######' Exchange=ECbot Price=13,09 Quantity=1 Market position=Short Operation=Insert Order='1717370702' Time='30/09/2013 11:16:07'

                Order information returned:

                30/09/2013 11:16:09|1|64|Instrument='ZS 11-13' Account='######' Avg price=1308,9464 Quantity=1 Market position=Short Operation=Insert Currency=UsDollar

                This is the same issue that the other users are experiencing.

                      Hello reflam,

                      During the development of NinjaTrader 7 this was a known issue. As we are preparing NinjaTrader 8 this will be heavily watched for during our development and beta testing of NT8. Due to the limited amount of users that this affects, there will not be further adjustments for this in NinjaTrader 7.
