    problem installing NT second computer.

    Hi guys.

    I want to install Nt on another computer.
    I have made a backup of my first computer and want to restore all the files on my second computer.
    I get a popup with the following message: "Ninja script files can't be restored, since they would corrupt your installation"

    On my first computer no problems at all.

    What do I have to do?

    Hi Theo, which OS are you using on those PC's? Would both be 32 or 64 bit, or would it be mixed?

        You could review this under Control Panel\System and Security\System in Windows 7.

        Since the folders used 32 vs 64 bit would be different the config files restored could corrupt the NinjaScript indicator reference dlls in such a case. You could restore the files manually though, as the ntbk backup file could be opened up in any zip / rar packer.

            Thanks Theo, if you compile your files on both PC's would that result in any issues being reported in your NinjaScript editors?

            Are both PC's using our most current version?

              I'm not sure about the first computer its the current version. How can I check that?\
              On the first computer no reported issues.
              The second computer only reported the problem I mentioned before.

                Theo, you could check the version if going under Help > License Key in NT.

                It would be easier for both of us I think, if we schedule taking a remote look via TeamViewer at your issue - would that be convenient for you as well?

                  I will contact you later.
                  First I"ll install Nt on the second computer once again and see when I have the problem again.
                  Btw. version ninjatrader 7.0.1000.10 on the first computer.
