Draw an object relative to window border

    Dear support,

I would like to draw a rectangle (or anything basically) a bit to the right from the left edge of a chart screen. I trade multiple instruments and when a sound goes off notifying me to be prepared, I would like to get a sign of that it's in this or that instrument/window via a well visible symbol like this. I dont want to plot the rectangle relative to the right edge of the chart cause I want to see the current development of course. As instruments have different volatilities, I can not state that drawing X bars ago will produce an object on the left edge of the chart across all instruments, so Im wondering if there is another way how to tell NT where the Y and X coords are.

Oh, and OT: Is there a way to disable the possiblity to click on an indicator on the chart? I keep selecting swingrays when I try to move my orders..

    Thanks,
    Daniel

    Hello,

Have you tried using DrawTextFixed()? This will give you the ability to draw a string of text and use TextPosition override to place it on the TopLeft, BottomLeft, etc of the chart.

Thank you, I think it will do.
      How about the second question?

      Thank you a lot!

        Hello,

Sorry about that - You can disable this feature by right clicking on your chart--> select "Properties"--> set the "Allow the selection or drag/drop of chart series" to "false"
