    order sequence

Suppose I short 1 es-mini contract at $1320, then I short 1 additional contract at a $1300. Is there a way to sell the contract bought at $1300 first? All orders would be manually entered.

    Thanks for your post.

It is not possible to sell the second contract first as all of the NinjaTrader order entry interfaces preserve FIFO (First In First Out) status with the exchanges when possible.

FIFO is important since getting your orders filled is dependant on a FIFO algorithm which basically means orders submitted ahead of yours at your order's price level will get filled ahead of you. Think of it like a long line at the grocery store. You are checked out only when those in line ahead of you have been checked out. NinjaTrader preserves your place in line when possible giving you the best possible advantage of getting your orders filled.

Below I have provided a link to the FIFO Optimization section of our online help guide.
