Cannot Install 7.8

    Cannot Install 7.8

    I have removed any and all ninja files then tried to install the new one, 7.8
    But it wants to repair or remove it.
    I keep getting this error message:

    a network error occured while trying to read from the file.
    C:\users\jr\appdata\local\temp\tmp7258.tmp

    There is no such file!
    Help pls

      I did that 3 times and it still gives me the error message.

        Can you please try running this MS tool first to fix the corrupt install info before reinstalling with our installer from the downloage page?

        The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter helps you automatically repair issues when you're blocked from installing or removing programs.

          problem with NJ icon not working

          My Ninja Trader icon on my desktop stopped working yesterday, when I clicked it I got a Microsoft error message. (I'm using it with the PFGBest data feed)

          So I uninstalled NJ from Control Panel and re-installed from the NJ download page.

          It did ask me if I wanted to repair or uninstall, so I choose repair.

          The icon on my desktop still didn't work, I got the same MS error message.

          So I came here and read about the MS Fix It, but when I try to install it, I get another error message saying the components failed to install.

          I'm at a loss of what to do...any more suggestions?

            Please send me your log and trace files for today so that I may look into what occurred.


            You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Support.

              no log files avail for today because my icon doesn't work

              I first installed NJ on my pc on Jan 19......it worked fine....on Sunday nite the 22nd, my desktop shortcut to open the NJ platform didn't work...I get a MS error message.

              So today the 24th there are no log or trace files, I only have for the 19th and 20th.

              I just tried installing 7.8 with Firefox, same error message when I click the desktop shortcut.

              Here's a screenshot of the MS error message:
