I know. The 3 methods were presented as alternatives; not that one need to do them all.

I personally mount a partition in the folder. That way, if I need more space, I just expand that partition which contains NT data only. That also means that I can just zip the whole partition if I want to back it up, knowing that the only thing in there is going to be NT stuff.

    Hello guillembm,

Can you please make sure NinjaTrader is shut down when you delete files in the (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7 folder.

Unfortunately it is not supported to relocate the NinjaTrader 7 folder - it needs to be in the (My) Documents folder. It is not supported to locate the (My) Documents folder on a network drive either.

    "My Documents" Folder

I have a trouble with "My Documents" Folder on windows. During the time I've been trading with NT the size of the folder has grown too much

I tried to delete some folders belonging to some instruments that I already don't use but this crashes NT. For several configuration reasons I can't expand the size of the system partition folder.

One good solution would be to move the settings folders to a secondary partition that has enough space. Is this possible? THere is a key on the registry that allows me to change this?
