    I see - good to hear the license can be verified again.

    Yes, I will keep an eye out in the future for time and date of the PC clock. Thank you for letting me know.

    I have found out, they (at FDC) restarted my server during weekend and somehow it has happenend the today's date was 11/27/2008. I corrected that and now I can easily connect and verify license. You should add sentence suggesting to verify computer's date and time to your troubleshooting tips for those who suddenly cannot verify license.
    But anyway, thank you for your help, at least we have found out the problem was not at your end.

    A successful ping requires all of the hardware, gateways, routers, firewalls and servers to be working. The server is working since your license is successfully verified on our end - I am not aware of similar reports today either.

    Can you please check the other items to find what is blocking it. I suggest to contact your ISP as well and see if there were any changes on their end. Do you perhaps have access to a different ISP to test?

    Please try a reset of your router as well and check if this will help.

    I tried to reinstall NT7, no firewalls are enabled. I can see my server in Chicago (where I run NT7) from elsewhere:

    Nothing has helped. There must be another problem. Please help, otherwise I cannot trade....

    Thank you for sending the license. I tested the license on my end and it was successfully verified without error.

    Something on your end must be blocking the connection to the license server. Unfortunately I cannot tell you what is blocking it. Could you try a reset of your modem/router and check if this will make a difference.

    Were there any changes on your computer or internet connection setup since the last time the license was verified successful?

    When I tried to send you trace and log files with license key I encountered another problem:
    Failed to send mail:The remote certificate is invalidaccording to validation procedure, but this relates probably to gmail settings in NT7.

    Could you please send me the license key by email so I can confirm it is valid. You can send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please include 'Attn Jason' in the subject field and reference this forum thread.

    It is multibroker lifetime license so I guess it is still valid.
    When I tracert each of those IPs you gave me, the last one I see in my traert before it times out is
    74.200.242.54 (for both IPs you gave me). Firewall is disabled.

    There are three main reasons why this message appears.
    • Your license is truly invalid
    • You have incorrectly entered the license key. Please double check to ensure that you have not accidentally entered an incorrect character or have a space at the end of your license key
    • The most common reason is that a firewall on your PC or on the network your computer is on is preventing NinjaTrader from accessing our license servers. To test this, please disable all firewalls and then restart NinjaTrader and see if it works. If yes, you just need to add ninjatrader.com to the exception list (safe list) for your firewall software
    NinjaTrader connect to its license server using the IP addresses and port numbers below. Make sure it is not blocked/interfered on your computer or internet connection setup.

    license verification

    HI,
    my NT7 is not able to verify license today. Please how can I resolve it by the time trading starts today? What IP address should I ping or tracert, I did not do any change to firewall or connection settings.
