London Stock Exchange Charting problem

Hi. My broker is InteractiveBrokers. London symbols such as BLT and VOD have spiky data from IB. The customer help told me to have charts data redirected from LSE to CHIXUK. Thus no spikes in IB's own charts.

But in ninjatrader, | entered interactive brokers symbol code BLT|CHIXUK it still imports buggy and very spiky data in NT chart. It seems the redirecting function to CHIXUK is not working in NT7( although it worked for me in NT6).

Please look into it.

What version of NinjaTrader are you using, NT V7.0.1000.6? You can check this under Help--> About

What is the build of TWS you have installed, TWS 917? You can check this in TWS under Help--> About.

Can you clarify what happens when your right click on the chart and select "Reload all historical data"? Does the data reload, or do you see the same spikey data loaded?

Do you get any errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

My NT version is 7.0.1000.6
TWS version 917 as specified
When i reload it, it corrects for a couple of minutes but then within a few minutes the chart shows spikes which were not there a few minutes ago in the same chart.
I think the directed to CHIXUK feature is not working somehow in NT7 and all NT is receiving is the buggy LSE data from IB.
No error logs in NT.

Can you please specify the Exchange you have selected from the Def. tab of the instrument editor?

The symbol is BLT|CHIXUK ........ similar results for VOD|CHIXUK

Hello,

In the case of both BLT and VOD, when I use the Directed Exchange in TWS to specify CHIXUK, the local name for both of these change slightly.

Instead of BLT|CHIXUK, can you please try BLTI|CHIXUK or VODI|CHIXUK.

It hasn't helped mathew. It says Security definition not found. It seems the only thing to do is to refresh the charts with the usual VOD|CHIXUK. If you guys can find a way around it, it would be good, if not thanks nonetheless for your effort and time.
