Measuring Profitability By Entry Time of Day

Hello All, and very helpful NT support people:

In the strategy analyzer, is there a way to measure the profitability of strategies by entry time of day? I see how to do it by exit time of day. Unfortunately, many of my strategies exit upon close.

any way to see when they are entered. for example, if I learn that many of my losing trades originate during the open, I may choose to avoid the open of the day.

    Hello outstretchedarm,

Unfortunately this is not supported in the Strategy Analyzer.

You can use the Trades or Orders-tab to view at what times your orders were entered. Subseuently, you can sort the list of orders or trades by clicking the columns. So if you click the 'Profit' column in the Trades-tab, it will sort all trades based on profit. That way you can check what trades had the worst losses and at what times these trades occurred.
