ATM Quantity field does not update in template

Yes this would be the case as it doesn't set until you click out of the field or click enter on your keyboard to set the value. It would not update or save if you do not click out of the field.

I have tested this multiple times with the exact steps outlined and cannot reproduce on my end.

Please use the steps I have provided below to move your current database file. With this procedure you will be required to recreate any ATM Strategies you may have saved at this time.

• Close NinjaTrader
• Docuements
• NinjaTrader 7
• Open the DB folder
• Select all .mdb and .sdf files
• Move these files to another location on your PC such as you Desktop
• Open NinjaTrader
• Create a few ATM Strategies
• Edit

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

The issue still persists, but I realize the reason. After changing the value in the Order quantity field, the user has to click inside another field in the form, for the value in the "Order Qty:" field to populate the "Qty:" field. If you Right click immediately after entering the value in 'Order Qty' field and save the template, the "Qty:" field never gets updated.

I have tested this on my end and was unable to reproduce the issue you are experiencing. Can you please tell me what version of NinjaTrader you have installed which can be found under Help-->About.

I am on 7.0.1000.5. This has always been a bug with NT since version 6. Please follow my instructions carefully. This issue is very reproducible, I can reproduce it every time.

The ATM quantity field is not updated using the following standard procedure: Edit an existing ATM strategy, change the 'Order qty' field, Right click > Manage ATM Strategy Template > Save > Ok. Now choose a different ATM strategy using the drop down list, then choose again the original strategy that was edited, you will see that the Order quantity was not changed.

To get the order quantity to change properly, you have do the following: Edit the ATM strategy, change the 'Order qty' field, Right click > Manage ATM Strategy Template > Cancel, then again, Right click > Manage ATM Strategy Template > Save > Ok.
