        Hi trader1512,

The advantage and disadvantage will be based on individual preferences, so if you wish to trade using the Static SuperDOM that is possible, or vice versa.

However, the reason for the presentation of two types of SuperDOMs has to do with the fact that the Static SuperDOM's price ladder display is patented technology, and to use it requires licensing to the patent-holder, which is Trading Technologies. More information at:

As a result some brokers support one type of technology versus the other, but the choice, and preference is ultimately yours.

            Hi Grignouf,

This is included with any TT based connection.

Gain FX switch - Static SuperDom disappeared

Just switched from futures account to FX account with NT. Now static DOM does not appear. Why? Used to have it with futures account. Dynamic DOM jumps around too much.

                Hi pfw_trader,

                Thank you for your post.

The Static SuperDOM is used for Futures trading, but the Dynamic SuperDOM is used for trading all instrument types supported within NinjaTrader.

In addition to the Dynamic SuperDOM with FX instruments you can use the FX pro window:

                    Hello elgrajillo,

                    Thank you for your post.

Please send a note to Sales [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com requesting that we enable the Static SuperDOM on your account and we can make this change.

In your message, please also include your license key. You will find the license key in the Help > License Key menu.

                        Hi Daniel,

Yes, it is possible to include the Static SuperDOM for live trading, but how you choose to obtain the necessary credits for the Static SuperDOM will vary depending on your broker.

For futures trading can you please clarify which broker(s) you are using.

                            Hi Daniel,

Since you are using Mirus Futures your brokerage will collect and pay the TT fees for you out of your brokerage account but your account must be set-up to collect these fees before I can convert your license to a static SuperDOM. The NinjaTrader static SuperDOM is offered under license from Trading Technologies and as such there is an additional fee of 10 cents per side per contract traded.

Please send an email to [email protected] requesting your account be converted for static SuperDOM use. Once they have made the change they will contact us and we will convert your license. Please allow up to 24 hours from the time you send your email conversion request until the process is completed although it is generally done much quicker.
