    stop loss

    hi
    just a question

    Hi valentina,

    Thank you for your post.

With the Direct Edition License OCO order entries are not supported so you would not be able to place OCO enabled orders, but you could bracket your postion and manually cancel the order that is not filled.

If you have an open position without any stop loss or profit target orders protecting it you can easily add these exit orders.

Please see a post in our support forum that outlines how to accomplish protecting an open position.

You will want to skip the parts about OCO orders since you will not be able to use this feature with your current license.

        valentina,

Yes, if you place an order on the opposite side of the market below your entry price it will function as a manual stop to exit your open position.
