I figured it out....
I need to use the Data Series Drop down list on the chart and select the Format Data Series option , then adjust the the Range setting accordingly as well as define the Interval Setting to 1440 here.
maybe this thread will help others in the future...

Make Zenfire Daily Chart span contract roll dates again
I have 6.5 with Zenfire. I trade the ES futures contract. I was following the ES910 using a 1440min chart (daily). When the ES rolled over to ES1210 this chart continued to work and I even had data in it prior to the roll over date of the ES.
I then ran into an issue where my indicator stops drawing text. I have found the fix to this is to delete the default.xml file and restart Ninja.
My indicator text is now back working as designed, but now I can no longer get data in my 1440 daily chart earlier than 9 days ago. At first I thought it was related to the roll over, but 9 days is before the roll over date. I have been altering the Tools - options - Data Tab - Chart Default Period, but it does not seem to alter how far back my chart goes.
Is there any way to get this data back so my daily chart goes back farther than 9 days?
It's strange it was working before.....
thanks
