I was just wondering what value others are using for "Points per bar" in the Gann Fan properties, on Euro (6E-12 07)?
I have it set at 0.00004 and get a reasonable result, but am not sure if there is an accepted "standard",
I am using 1 minute and 5 minute bar charts for my main analysis of retracements and changes in trend etc.
I realise that its pretty arbitrary how many points in price one applies in relation to time, as it depends on how you chart your information. Gann said 1 unit of price change over 1 unit of time was a 1:1 ratio, but that was for stocks on the Dow Jones.
so I'd be interested in hearing what values others are using for this.
