Historical data server connection problems

Had a problem with CL the other day... now YM and CL... "Error on loading chart data for "YM 12-09 Globex." Connection to data server is not available righ tnow. Please try again later."

When do you think these problems will be resolved?

In NT7, will you check to be sure data is available BEFORE wiping out the data I already have on my computer so that the charts aren't rendered useless?

Thank you for your post.

Can you please disconnect from your data provider and repair the DB. Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.

• Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
• From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
• Select the "Misc" tab
• Press the "Repair DB" button
• Press the "OK" button

Please reconnect and then right click on the charts and select Reload Historical Data.

As for this type of issue, can you please let me know who your data provider is?

NinjaTrader 7 also will have a historical data manager which allow the user to determine how to handle the reloading of historical data, such that if you wished you could not wipe out database data when reloading. Please see the following link.
