Problem Saving Chart Properties Fixed

Hi,

Thank you for the clarification.

When you right click an instrument in the Market Analyzer and hit send to chart it will always use the 1 minute interval.

What you can do instead is always have a chart open and then link the Market Analyzer to the open chart with your specified interval. Then every time you select an instrument in the Market Analyzer it will change the instrument in the chart and keep the interval the same.

Problem Saving Chart Properties Still Exists

I have looked at the Workspace help you directed me to but I am still unable to properly save the charting setup.
I have gone in to the chart and set it up as I want.
I then go back to the workspace and save it.
I get out of Ninja Trader.
I restart Ninja Trader and open my workspace.
I open Market analizer, select an instrument list then select an instrument to chart.
When the chart opens I am brought back to a data series of 1 minute.

Could you tell me where in the workspace I can set the data series default to daily or the steps I need to use to Save my chart setup in the workspace.

Thank you for your post.

Rather than saving the chart using the chart templates please save the chart as part of a workspace. Please go to File-->Workspaces-->Save Workspace As.

I am unable to save the new parameters I have chosen when I set up my chart template as stated in the help guide.

Version: 6.5.1000.14
.net version: 2.0.50727.42

The steps I followed are:
Open Ninja Trader
I connect to Yahoo for my data feed.
I select new market analyzer
I load my template NCS- Default
I add my instrument list.
I select one instrument
I right click on the line and select send to chart.
On the chart I select indicators.
I add the Nison Candle Scanner.
I update the data series from 1 min to daily.
I then right click on the chart and select Templates -> Save as default.

Everything saves except for the data series.

I have closed and restarted Ninja Trader but to no avail.

Am I doing something wrong?
