Displaying charts for LSE using IB feed

Hello! I have been unable to successfully generate charts for stocks on the LSE using my IB feed.

The message I get is "error in requesting historical data from IB. No security definition has been found for the request (200)"

I do have the LSE data feed from IB and I did go through the steps outlined on another thread about using the instrument manager to set up a stock symbol etc.

Can someone guide me through the process? Thanks you.

Hi mrbeanbag, which exchange and currency have you setup for it in the Instrument Manager?

I have VOD under "master instrument" (vodafone) as my test stock , set to the LSE exchange, British Pounds, Instrument type is "stock" , symbol map is for IB , I put "VOD.L" becasue that is the local name in IB .

I bet I messed that last bit up, didn't I? Thanks!

Unfortunantely I cannot test this on LSE data for you, but you want to use your IB symbol VOD.

I changed it to just "VOD" but same result. What am I doing wrong?

Which TWS version are you running? We still recommend using 887.2, found in our IB connection guide - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm

Best would be you contact us with your IB connection details at support at ninjatrader dot com and we test this for you on our end.
