Volume values can't be greater than Int32 max value which is ~ 2.000.000.000. This is a known limitation which will be overcome with NT7.

Daily Bars Format
Each bar must be on its own line and fields must be separated by semicolon (. Only 1 day bars can be imported.


The format is:
yyyyMMdd;open price;high price;low price;close price;volume


Sample data:
20061023;1377.25;1377.25;1377.25;1377.25;86
20061024;1377.25;1377.25;1377.25;1377.25;27
20061025;1377.25;1377.25;1377.25;1377.25;24
20061026;1377.50;1377.50;1377.25;1377.25;82



I´m sorry but i don´t see the difference between the sample data above and my txt file.
Can you explain me better?

I´m trying to import historical ^sp500 data from 1950, so i downloaded from yahoo, give the correct format and when tried to import i get this error:

^SP500: Format error in line 1: value too big or too small to Int32.: '20081111;917.15;917.15;884.90;898.95;4998340000'

Any idea?

I´ve attached a reduced copy of the file (original exceeds the max allowed here).
