rt, All the lines and arrows are divergence markers generated by code in a strategy file not the indicator file. The strategy has 30-40 DataSeries and/or BoolSeries to create the markers with options to display any or all the signals. The strategy utilizes 4 time frames. Eventually it will be turned into an auto trading system as soon as I can work out all the kinks and hazards of auto trading.

That one I will keep to myself. I was just trying to share the way I incorporate these very fast indicators into my trading. Hopefully some other folks will share a few nuggets also.

rt, maybe this will give you a better idea of how I use the TrixV3.

Pre NY Open created an important Support Resistance Zone at 903.00 +- 1 point. So as the market made new intra-day highs and then started its retrace I am sitting there anticipating that the 903 zone would be touched. Since I do not know if it will hold I wait for the TrixV3 to signal an entry. So I always have the entry zone in mind before I even look at the TrixV3. This indicator only helps me time an entry while in a certain zone.

Unfortunately I did not take this trade because I only had about half the components required to enter. Might have to revisit that rule (since this coulda, woulda, shoulda trade went for 1o points without me).

The charts you posted have arrows on them.

The zip file you uploaded does not have them.

rt, I am using 3,4.5,3.75. I am not sure it makes a whole lot of difference.

If you use this thing as a stand alone it will chew you up. I never even look at this thing until I have identified a possible trade on higher time frames. Then I drop down to the 500 Vol chart TrixV3 and a couple of other divergence indicators looking for a good entry spot.

Thought I would show some of the best uses for this indicator that I know of. I am sure some of you folks have other ideas and I hope you will share. My best use is to correlate it with something else. I use it primarily for an entry signal when I already know that I want to take a position.

2nd image was another trade were the setup was not a nice but still valid.

2 trades and I am done for the day.

I am an addict, what can I say! Trade #3 slowly making its way down.

Two more trades. 1 Winner and 1 LOSER.

OK here is the latest small mod that I like to have in an indicator with histograms. A little color change when the Trix line rises or falls helps pull the eye to it. Still green above zero and red below but you will see the difference. New name so it won't overwrite.

It is so much easier to overlay an indicator that has defined high and low limits, such as RSI or Stochastics.

Now I want to see eDanny and Chartlearner bump it up one more level and code the divergence indicator off the TrixV3. Good lick with that one.

I think it would be easier to see if they can get the indicator up onto the price chart.
