I need to provide a cost estimate which includes learning curve for NinjaTrader and NinjaScript for a new developer with no prior experience in NinjaTrader (yes experience in C#). I understand that the question is too vague to be meaningfully answered, but I am curious what other programmers' experiences have been? How long has it taken you to develop your first reasonably complex strategy, of about 300 to 400 lines of code (not using the wizard, and with about a dozen parameters)? How long before you've outgrown the managed trading approach? How long did it take to master NinjaTrader enough to test it meaningfully? I am not looking for anything precise of course, given that the question is so general.
