Channels

Can anyone tell me what indicator is used to create these channels...
it sorta looks like SMA with standard deviations but I can't seem to duplicate it..

Hi dwt1020,

I am not recognizing this indicator as well. It does not look to be one of the indicators supplied with NinjaTrader and a search for "channel" on the forums does not bring up any indicators that look like this.

Hopefully, another community member may recognize this.

It is a moving average with a fixed enveloppe. Take a standard Keltner Channel and replace the volatility based offset (moving average of simple range) with a fixed offset.
Apply a second channel.

On (constant) range charts this modification is not necessary, as you can directly add two Keltner Channels.

Attached is an indicator that displays multiple Keltner Channels applied to a minute chart of the NYSE TICK.
