If you are subscribed to NG on Globex already you can't subscribe to it on Nymex. Vice versa applies as well.

As I said above... if I keep it in NYMEX (with IQfeed), I can't get time&sales, and I can't get quotes in the control center.

Anything in logs? Please keep it set to NYMEX which is what we concluded works.

Hi,

Just as a follow-up on this bug... still getting strange behavior.

If NG is set to NYMEX, my strategy's secondary bars are working fine. However, in this mode (with IQFeed), I can't get any live quotes for NG. Inside the control center, no ask/bid/last prices for any NG future. I also can't get T&S. I'm still getting live bars/ticks in my code.

If I set to GLOBEX, I get live prices + T&S, but my strategy's secondary bars immediately stop working.

I can probably work out a temporary work around... but any clue whether this will be fixed in NT 7?

Unfortunately there is no way to export/save the instrument lists. As discussed before your should NOT manage any options in NT.

Sorry, I meant VIX futures (@VX on IQFeed).

They're not on the instrument list in the current version, hopefully they will be in the next.

Note: you would need to go through that exercise again after a Tools->Options->Misc->Reset instruments. So, a better approach might be:
- having NG on Nymex assigned to your instrument list
- having Add("NG 07-09 Nymex"...) in your strategy

Is there a way to export/save instrument list...? I also have to add by hand the VIX options every time I reset the database, for example.

Please keep the settings that work for you. I believe order routing should be fine.

Can you check your instrument manager for the NG and ensure that only one exchange is checked for it and then try again?

I tried flipping it to Globex only (unchecked NYMEX). Same problem.

No, nothing relevant + recent at all.

Do you have a feed with NG? Any ZenFire feed should have it. If not, I can share my IQFeed account while you debug this.
